I am so sorry to hear of Benita's passing because she was someone that I was really hoping to see  at our next reunion.  I can't remeber if we shared any classes together, but I do remember her calm, friendly spirit.  I know I always enjoyed talking and laughing with her.  Benita had such a nice presence and I doubt that changed thoughout the years.  The last time I saw Benita was one summer, during college, when I was working at the Progress Bulletin. (remember that lovely old building right in the center of town?). I was walking on the street, during one of my breaks,  and I saw her on the other side of the street.  I screamed out her name and ran up to see her.  It was a short, but fun little visit.  I don't remember the details, but I do remember her laughing. Sadly that was the last time I saw her.  I hope she had a good life - she was certianly deserving of that.
